We are proud to be a member of all the key regulatory bodies within the travel industry, guaranteeing you a high standard of service and financial protection, in the unlikely event that things do not go according to plan.

Your Financial Protection. When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive package from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

Some of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. This website will provide you with information on the protection that applies in the case of each holiday and travel service offered before you make your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides financial protection under its ATOL Franchise and The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for James Hill Travels, ABTOT number 5630 , ATOL number 12760, and in the event of their insolvency, protection is provided for the following:

  • non-flight packages;

  • flight inclusive packages that commence outside of the UK, which are sold to customers outside of the UK; and

  • flight inclusive packages, flight only and linked travel arrangements (LTAs) sold as a principal under the ABTOT ATOL Franchise.ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or repatriation if you are abroad.    Please note that bookings made by customers outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with James Hill Travels.
